Out With the Old

Yesterday was a perfect day to take down the fall decorations- nice and warm! Most of the inside stuff consisted of artificial flowers and leaves so it was stowed into a tote and hauled to the basement to await next year. But the outside decorations-- click here for picture-- will mostly be recycled.

The little red wagon is stored in the garage.

The straw in the scarecrow and wagon is now bedding for goats and chickens on cold winter nights.

The clothes for the scarecrow have gone into the rag box. His boots are on the front porch- waiting for me to stick a poinsettia in them.

And the pumpkins? Well, you might call them pumpkins but around here, they are often referred to as...

breakfast!
